Kibbutz Ein Shemer - by Brett

The kibbutz was a very interesting experience. Although I had been to a kibbutz the previous time I was in Israel, this was a different experience. Before visiting the kibbutz, i wondered why would anyone want to live in this different type of community. At the kibbutz, we observed young kids washing their clothes in the local laundry. Seeing them made me realize why they want to live in what seemed was such a strange way. i now understood that these people live in unity and equality. These people understand and feel for each other and if everyone else in the world did this as well, the world would be a much better place.
